    Faith Seeking Understanding

    Our theme this month is Unitarian Universalism's 3rd Principle, "the acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth." But what is spiritual growth and how can we encourage it in ourselves and our congregation? Join us this Sunday to reflect on the relationship between faith, logic, doubt, and questioning. Rev. Sally will offer a message inspired by 11th Century Benedictine monk, Anselm of Canturbury, as we consider how ancient philosophies might still serve our spiritual growth today. Speaker: Rev.     Winter Solstice

    Astronomically, the Winter Solstice is the moment when the North Pole is furthest from the Sun. That will happen at 10:03 a.m. on December 21. Join us in that moment of Solstice with drumming and ritual dancing, after which we’ll cast the circle for our annual Yule Service around 10:30. At the crest of rebirth and renewal, Yule teaches us the value of rest and reflection. It reminds us that healing requires space and time, just as the earth rests before every bloom of Spring.
