Nature’s Cathedral – Outdoor Service and Potluck Picnic

Join us for an outdoor service that will revel in the sacred connections between all living things. This will be a chance to get out of our heads and out of our building, to enjoy first-hand the touch, taste, and feel of the natural world. We will gather in an open, shady spot near the center of Withrow park, and you can look for our NUUC banner when you arrive. Street parking can be found on the streets surrounding the park, or in the Green P lot at Chester Station (10 min walk). Bring your camp chairs and picnic blankets for sitting.
The service will be followed by a potluck picnic, so be sure to bring your appetite and a dish to share. Feel free to also bring a travel mug – we will provide coffee, plates, and cutlery.
No Zoom Access: Apologies to our regular Zoom participants, the limitations of our tech means we will not be able to stream this service on Zoom. If you’re hungry for NUUC connection on Sunday, check out one of our recorded services that you may have missed earlier this summer: https://www.youtube.com/@neighbourhoodunitarianuniv4277/videos
Rain location: In the event of severe weather, we will gather in our usual Sunday sanctuary space in Rafos Hall.
