Activism as Spiritual Practice Unitarian-Universalism has a long history of taking action for justice. There are many ways to engage in taking action that embody personal and collective principles, values, comfort, and pleasure. Lifelong activist and member of our neighbour congregation First Unitarian, Leslie Solomonia will share some of her own experiences, and lead us in reflecting on how various forms of activism might fit into our own spiritual journeys. Neighbourhood has endorsed Draw the Line, a global initiative "for people, for peace, for the planet," which will culminate in events on six continents Saturday September 20. You can learn more about the Canada campaign here: https://drawtheline.world/canada. There are lots of ways we can join in as a community. If you'd like to help, join our Draw the Line Working Group. No minimum time commitment! Just take on tasks as you're moved to, and stay in touch with the group online. For more info, or to join, email Tony at president@nuuc.ca.
