Join Dr Nate Charach and Neighbourhood’s Gwen Schauerte in a small group that empowers you to take meaningful action to address the challenges of our time. Based on Joanna Macy’s Work That Reconnects while integrating land-based healing practices and psychotherapeutic principles.  You will connect to your inner self, to others in the group and to the greater natural world, deepening your experience of community.     If you are new to NUUC and thinking about joining, or just wondering how your own unique path might fit into this community, you can register here to participate in our one-day “Pathways to Membership” class led by Rev. Sally Fritsche with our fabulous membership volunteer team. Newcomers and visitors are invited to gather in-person on Saturday April 25th, tour through our space, get to know others new to the community, and learn about what it means to get connected to this congregation and UUism as a whole. We will eat lunch together (vegan chili provided), and our focus will be on building connections and answering as many of your questions as possible. Taking part in our Pathways to Membership does not mean you are committing to officially joining NUUC as a member; it is a way to get to know Neighbourhood more deeply as you figure out your own journey.

    It’s Back by Popular Demand! Peter Marmorek will facilitate a small group to help you deepen and expand your writing. We’ll write and (optionally) share our writing together. There will be 8 sessions, every 2nd Wed from Jan. 28th. We’ll meet between 7 and 9:30.To join, sign up in Cappuccino room, or email Peter (marmorek@mac.com). If more than 12 people sign up, a Jan 21 lottery will decide, with first priority given to those who haven’t previously been in the group.

    Our 18+ years running monthly open mic.  First Saturday of the month (March 1st) Hosted by MC Allison.  All ages and types of performances are welcome. Things get underway by 7:30 and wrap up around 9:15pm. Just drop in to participate or sit back and enjoy.
