2025 12 21 Kendrew Pape “Winter Solstice”

Kendrew Pape welcomes the newborn Sun with drumming and dancing starting at the moment of the solstice 10:03am, after which we’ll cast the circle for our annual Yule Celebration around 10:30. At the crest of rebirth and renewal, Yule teaches us the value of rest and reflection. It reminds us that healing requires space and time, just as the earth rests before every bloom of Spring. Julia Thompson offers the children a Yule story and Kurt Thomsen weavers the service.
