In this 90-minute interactive workshop, psychotherapist and author Kelsey Crowe, PhD, introduces The Empathy Menu, a practical tool for offering support that feels authentic and sustainable. Her book There Is No Good Card for This was a #2 Amazon best-seller featured on NPR and in The Wall Street Journal, and is the inspiration for a small group currently being led by Rev. Sally at Neighbourhood UU. About the facilitator Kelsey Crowe, PhD, is a psychotherapist in private practice and co-author of There Is No Good Card for This: What to Say and Do When Life Gets Scary, Awful, and Unfair to People You Love. The book was praised by Book Riot as "a manual for humans that plan to interact with other humans." BuzzFeed described reading it as "one of 15 things to do that will change your life."
