There will be 8 sessions, every 2nd Wed from Jan. 28th. We’ll meet between 7 and 9:30.To join, sign up in Cappuccino room, or email Peter (marmorek@mac.com). If more than 12 people sign up, a Jan 21 lottery will decide, with first priority given to those who haven’t previously been in the group.
Join us this Sunday for a service reflecting on safety, policing, and how our communities might navigate fear without abandoning our values and commitments. The Sumudna protest choir will join us for this service, and together we will sing, meditate, and reflect on Unitarian Universalism's 8th Principle: Individual and communal action that accountably dismantles racism and systemic barriers to full inclusion in ourselves and our institutions. Speaker: Rev. Sally Service Weaver: Kurt Thomsen Music: Sumudna Choir
Facilitated by Jane Lewis and Susanne Maziarz. All are welcome to this improvised singing circle. A creative opportunity for listening, being in the moment, sharing your voice, and laughing! Contact Susanne at music@nuuc.ca for more info.
