Informal gathering: Simple Joys and Concerns

Let's take a few moments to think and perhaps rethink the stories we tell and the way we tell them and what they mean to us. Rob teaches writing and acting in the animation departments of Seneca and Humber colleges. He has an MFA in creative writing and has been obsessed with story since he was demanding "just one more story" from his Mom at bedtime. YOU are welcome here; we look forward to meeting you! Rainbow Room Volunteer Training

Sally is offering a one-day orientation to everything Rainbow Room before summer ends, and you are invited to take part. This day will include time to connect with your fellow volunteers, (re)introductions to our safety policies and upcoming curriculum, a Rainbow Room supplies scavenger hunt, and a chance to reflect more deeply on the purpose and mission behind UU "Sunday school." If you are more interested in the wider scope of administrative side of Lifespan Learning at NUUC, but NOT in actually volunteering in a Sunday morning Rainbow Room role, you are still welcome to attend this day (it will be fun and we'd love to have you!), but our focus will be hands-on learning and practical orientation.
