Sunday Service

February 21, 2021 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

Join us  as we free ourselves of perfectionism and lean in to loving our “flawsomeness.”
Confucius is believed to have said, “Better a diamond with a flaw than a pebble without.”  Most might agree with these statements and yet many of us dread making that single mistake and hold flawlessness as the standard.  But what if I told you that failure is in fact a gift. Allowing room to make mistakes is not only liberating but
an act towards the dismantling of White Supremacist culture.

Guest speaker,  E.N. (pronounced like “Ian”) Hill is an intern minister at First Unitarian & UU Fellowship of Ottawa.

In the past, they is an Air Force veteran, a spoken word artist and a community activist. They
graduated from Starr King School for the Ministry Spring 2020.
