Our Sunday Services are for...
Setting aside time and space for reflection and inspiration;
Searching for wisdom and inspiration wherever it may be found, in
many scriptures and traditions, poetry and philosophy;
Involving heart and mind, body and spirit;
Sharing what is common between us – the human condition;
Listening for the unique truths of each individual.

Children join in at the beginning of the service. After the Children's Story, they go to their own programs. Visitors and inquirers are always welcome. Our services are held every Sunday morning at 10:30 am and last for about an hour.Coffee and light snacks are served afterwards, and we hope you will stay to have a chat and exchange ideas with us.

Happy New Year!

January 15th:  Soul and Sound
Ken Whitley and Rev. Wayne Walder
Our annual service remembering Dr. Martin Luther King, with wonderful, lively music. And  maybe a conversation with Ken about sickness and health after his near death experience.

January 22nd:  Principles      |
Rev. Wayne Walder
Justice Equity and compassion in human relationships?   Maybe the "Occupiers" have something to say "exactly" about  that.

January 29: Imbolc -  The Pagan holiday of Candlemass
Rev. Wayne Walder and Kendrew Pape.
After a long winter, Candlemass was the holiday to send winter away and for the Sun to grow bright enough to warm us. It was also a time for us to wonder about the future.

February 5           Black History in Canada
Dr. Wilburn Hayden
The talk is grounded in four of our Seven Principles: the inherent worth and dignity of every person; justice, equity, and compassion in human relations; acceptance of one another; and a free and responsible search for truth and meaning. We are just now including blacks in accounts of Canadian history. For most of us, Canadian history has not presented non-white populations as participants in our development as a nation. The talk will look at historical events and explore the question of omission or exclusion.

February 12          Multi-generational Heart Communionj
Amanda Henderson
In this dramatic all-ages service, we’ll join the people of the village “Bountiful” in their search for a new Mayor. A contest is held to find a new leader that will love all the people in the village: a leader with a perfect heart. The people of Bountiful may be surprised by what they learn about love in the process.

February 19         Justice, Equity and Compassion
Rev. Wayne Walder
Long ago I walked into a barbershop and the barber said, "where do you come down, on justice or compassion?"  I hope we can have a conversation about just that!

February 26         Encouraging Spiritual Growth
Rev. Wayne Walder
Our Mission statement expects us to have a spiritual life.  In fact it assumes that unless we have a spiritual life we will burn out in our social or political work.    What is your practice?
